In the center of the table I placed a round white serving bowl that sits on a metal carrier. In that I put an Easter rabbit, grass and pastel colored eggs. The rabbit is so cute. I have had it for several years.
On the back of the rabbit is a glass vase to fill with flowers or greenery. I chose a white daisy and some purple small flowers.
For a tablecloth I relied again on my painters drop cloth. I used blue placements purchased on clearance from Pier One.
I used white dishes that I have had forever, purchased at Wal-Mart. On top of those I used clear glass dishes for our salad plate.
The green napkins were a gift from a friend. The silver was a gift from my husband for our fifth wedding anniversary. I love to use these on special occasions! The old-fashioned goblets were a gift from my Mom.
The napkin rings were a gift many, many years ago. I haven't used them much as the initial is for my first name, not my last name. Sorta odd I think!
For a fun touch and to add more color, I put these darling vintage aqua glass dishes my Mother recently gave me. These were from her collection that she no longer was using. At one time she had these hung on a wall along with some other plates. It was very striking. I believe they originally were to be used as coasters. I placed them at each setting and filled them with Easter candy.
The first shots I took only had 3 pieces of candy. Before the family arrived I added more as seen in the picture above.
A bigger view of the table.
By the way, I hope to paint these cane-back chairs with white chalk paint soon! Stay tuned to see the results.

It was beautiful day to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord. We began the day at church being inspired by stirring music and and an inspiration message. We then had our family dinner followed by an Easter egg hunt for the grand children. I thank God that He makes life sweet.
How about you? What was your Easter Sunday like?
Thanks for stopping by! I love to read your comments, so do share! Libby~
